Dear Hive Friend and Hive Learner Members,
If I take a look around me I found many people love the drinking, some of them are regular drinkers and some of them drink occasionally. I do not like drinking and I want to be in my senses. Every person has their own capacity, some of them become out of control after a little consumption and some do not get effected even after they take a heavy quantity. Many of them knows their limits but still most of them go out of control when they start drinking. Fortunately I do not have habit of drinking or smoking and I am glad that I am out of few which are totally avoiding them. I have observed it becomes the status symbol and if you say no to drink in corporate or office parties the people gives you weird look with the reply are you sure, really you do not drink or you never tasted or you stopped drinking. If course it's every ones person decision of they want to have drinks or not and till the time it does not effect my life I am ok with it and do not mind if some known to me drinks. But I always advice to avoid it because of the harmful side effects on health as well as the person life. I have seen those effected around me and some of them lost their live or seen the breaking of personal relationship and marriages. Some of them drink for enjoyment but when the enjoyment activity becomes the habit they also do not come know.
I am belongs to the North side of country and marriages in north are celebrated heavily. Along with the food and dance the drinks are the also part of it. Drinks are not mandatory but it becomes the part of function now days. As mentioned I do not drink but sitting in a group of persons drinking in a wedding function is not problem for me. I always take a cold drink in such occasions to give them company. I have seen many incidents during the marriage where some of the heavy drunker doing funny things or even start fighting with the person sitting next to him. I remember one such incidents during a wedding party of one of our known person. It was the night time and drinking were getting served. The function was supposed to get over before the mid night but you know if some group of drunker sit them it's not easy to make them go home. Similar think was happened their also. They all were drinking and dancing on songs played by the DJ. A separate electricity arrangement i.e. diesel generators was provided for the DJ as the instruments used the heavy load and to avoid any mismanagement due to electricity shortage. The people fully drunker were forcing DJ to play the tracks and up to some extend he was doing what they were asking. But after the 11 PM he also pack up and gone. Now their was only sound and that was sound of diesel engine and generators. You won't believe they all were so drunk that they do not realize that the DJ was gone and they all are dancing on the sound of generator lol. It was too funny. You can imagine the situation and to be honest it make me laugh till now when even I think of that incident. It take some time for them to realize the situation.
The fighting is another bad output of drinking. In many function I have seen that the people go out of control after heavily drinking the liquor and start fighting with each other. This fight not only ruined the charm of function but also become a reason of fights in future. People should understand that they do not have any right to spoil the celebration and they should always be in their limits. Many time people try to provoke me or try to force me o have one glass only but I always say no to them. The wine as a medicine is good for health and it is required for some places for example the places where the temperature goes very low in winners. But it's not the car in our country. I also not have any right to interfere in anyone else's life and do not want to make any person comment if someone has the habit of regular drinking but we can always advice him or her.
