One of the major cause of development in our society is the rate we humans strive for greatness without limitations. Solutions are formulated when we encounter challenges and hurdles on our path to achieve our desired objectives. Opportunities are provided when others with limitless imaginations put their great minds to work which in return provide employment opportunities for those who are not capable of coming up with such innovative ideas.

I also have the same similar perspective as yours because I strongly believe limiting humans ability to acquire wealth automatically deprives us of our need to strive for greatness. What better motivates humans than poverty but in a system that encourages equal wealth, what will be the essence of money then?
