I also pass through the same process as a student but my supervisor was not as cruel as this. Though he was strict and he scrutinized every chapter of my project but he never stressed me beyond what was necessary. We also have a lecturer like your supervisor in my school his name is Mr Kazeem, he was a junior lecturer but he was the worst. I believe every school have at least one sadist lecturer.
