Welcome back to my blog this beautiful day. Is good to be back. This should not just be an idea, but I pray that it will be implemented with immediate effect. Having to discuss about paternity leave will go along way in helping the women in the family to have a little rest. Maybe not the way I am seeing it but I believe it will be better if it works.
We live in a generation where both women and men are working class people. Everyone is going out in the morning and coming back in the evening. Gone are those days when only the fathers go out to get what the family will eat while the mother stays at home to take care of everyone and everything. Today the reverse is the case. So, in those days when a woman puts to birth she is allowed to rest for as long as she wants. Sometimes she can even stay at home with out going to the market for a whole year. At that time we don't need to talk about paternity leave because she can do all the work of taking care of the child because she does not think of the work that she needs to do.
THE REASON WHY I SUPPORT PATERNITY LEAVE.
While in this generation the woman does office work too like the man and in fact some women are more busy than their husbands. This is why I will prefer that if the woman puts to birth, she should not be left alone with the child to do all the house work. Sometimes especially when there is no one with her at home she gets too stranded when she needs help. If the husband is also given a paternity leave he will have all the time to be with his wife at home, help with the house chores, help to take care of the new baby and allow his wife to have some rest. This way we will have the woman come out of the season very strong and healthy.
Another major reason that I support this is because the man also needs to bound with his new born baby. Some children are not too used to their fathers because the father goes out in the morning and come back in the evening. I remember a child asking the mother who the father was because the child is not used to seen the father at home all the time. That week the father was given leave and the son was surprised to see a man at home in the day. So, he asked his mother if this man in their sitting room is their uncle. When the man got to know about it he decided to quit his job so that he can bound with his children. That was a very big lesson for him and he kept advising other men to create time with their family no matter how busy their schedules are.
In conclusion, both the man and the woman needs to create time to be with the kids so as to bound with them. We have lots of women in this generation that don't even have enough time for their kids. And that is the reason why the family of many is shaking. The children just wake up to do what they want because no one is available to teach them the right thing. When the family is good then we will have a very good society.
