Yesterday was a special day for me, I went to see one of my favorite childhood bands that I thought I would never see. I had been enjoying that moment all night and a few hours ago I relived 😅 It's the reason why I've been away for a few hours. Two days before this I was walking along Santa Fe Avenue in Palermo, Buenos Aires.
I took some photos of this area and recently saw this cool street photography contest, so I thought it appropriate to share these shots with you today as my entry.
This photo is one of my favorites, people walk through the metrobus station while the buses come straight ahead, If you look closely in the background above, just at that moment the train was passing.
In this part of the avenue is Plaza Italia, here is also the subway station on line D that has the same name.
Havanna is a very well-known coffee shop in the country, there are even products that are sold in other countries. This is one of the places in this part of Palermo.
I think that if I had to choose a favorite photo among them all, it would be this one. I really like the composition, it shows the essence of street photography, it includes the human element, in the background nature (trees), the subway station, buses and pedestrians.
Bus line 118 while starting after the traffic light changed. I like how in some photos the trees in the background adorn the image, it is something that characterizes the city, that is why they call it "Buenos Aires Verde".
This is a general view of Santa Fe Avenue, at this point. A combination between concrete and nature, the day was quite cloudy.
To finish, a photo of the facade of the Holy Eucharist parish.
That's all friends! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
