It will not be far fetched to see the expression of hunger and poverty on the faces of many Nigerians. The outcry for help has been heard from every sector. The unfriendly policies roll out by the government these days resulted in inflicting more suffering on the people. Whether those policies would help to strengthen the economic system of the country is what only the future will tell. But at the present, we could see and feel the pains of the masses as they go through a lot to get daily food.
The pictures in this post were taken by me when I came out and discovered the crowd of hungry and helpless people who were gathered on the street at the gate of a venue where there was an occasion. The people you are seeing and gasping for food from the organizers of the occasion. They are outside the gate begging and pleading to be given food from what has been prepared for the occasion.
The inflation rate in Nigeria is highly unbearable. Children as well as adults are suffering from insufficient supply of food as well as malnutrition. Things are really out of hand because it is not easy to afford food with the income one is generating.
