Good morning, amazing people!
I recently had the chance to visit Mirador Hill Heritage Eco-Park in Baguio City last November, and let me tell you, it was such a memorable experience. I had actually written a blog about it, but I've got a few more photos to share with you all, especially the stunning view from the park's view deck.
Now, let's talk about the main highlight of the park—the view! From the view deck, you get this breathtaking panoramic view of the Baguio City mountains and the houses nestled amidst them. It's like a picture-perfect postcard come to life! I was truly mesmerized by the beauty of nature and how it blended seamlessly with the urban landscape. The view deck itself is well-maintained and spacious, allowing visitors to take in the scenery comfortably. There are benches where you can sit, relax, and soak in the awe-inspiring vista. It's the perfect spot to unwind and appreciate the wonders of nature.
What I loved most about our visit was that it was a family-day tour. Spending quality time with my loved ones amidst such natural beauty was truly special. We took walks along the park's trails, enjoying the fresh air and the calming ambiance. It was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The park itself is well-designed, with lush greenery and colorful flowers adorning the pathways. It's evident that the park management takes great care in maintaining its natural charm. There are also informative signboards along the trails, providing interesting facts about the flora and fauna found in the area.
But one thing that highlights the park is its heritage bell. The fascinating history of the Heritage Bell at Mirador Eco Park holds a special place in the park's heritage, and its story is definitely worth sharing. I also mentioned that in my previous blog. But for those who haven't read my post about Mirador Hill, the Heritage Bell, also known as the "Bell of Baguio," has a rich history that dates back to the 1930s. It was originally cast in the United States and brought to the Philippines as a gift to the city of Baguio. This bell was meant to symbolize the friendship between the American and Filipino people during that time.
Overall, Mirador Hill Heritage Eco-Park is a gem in Baguio City. It offers a stunning view of the mountains and a chance to reconnect with nature and its beautiful history. Whether you're a local or a tourist, I highly recommend visiting this park. It's a delightful escape from the city's hustle, and it's a great place to create beautiful memories with your loved ones. So, if you're planning a trip to Baguio City, make sure to include Mirador Hill Heritage Eco-Park in your itinerary.
This is my entry to @photofeed's Landscape Photography Round 66. Until our next adventure, my friends. Thank you for reading!
