We always have pleasant moments to be grateful for all the beautiful things that life grants us and today is one of those that is worth leaving immortalized in my blog, so that even when the years go by it will remain in this special corner of my life.

I have a group of special friends with whom I have shared in different places and whenever we have the opportunity to meet and spend some quality time there we are, so we decided to meet today at my house and share a delicious Creole lunch, our succulent typical dish of Venezuela (pabellon), needless to say that it was tasty.

As every celebration there has its place the coffee, I set out to prepare it to share with my friends after lunch and they told me they were going to get something to snack and that's where I got my second surprise, well actually the surprise of my princess.

Ten days ago exactly my little girl turned 9 years old and they could not be at her celebration so they decided to make her a cake and make this Sunday a very special one, we sang happy birthday to her and then we accompanied that delicious slice of cake with a rich and concentrated black coffee with very low amount of sugar.

I have already told you in other publications that I love cake with coffee and this came at the ideal time and hour, we set out to talk and enjoy our meeting with our faithful companion such as coffee, in short we spent a very pleasant afternoon in the company of good music to make the atmosphere something more conducive, we chanted many Venezuelan songs because today is a very important day for our beautiful country.

In conclusion my dear readers, I don't know what appetizer you accompany your coffee with, but in my very personal case if I were the owner of a coffee shop one of the things that should always be available in my kitchen is firstly coffee and secondly a slice of cake to cover that craving for a negrito with that spongy biscuit, this can be cold or hot, any presentation is ideal with a cup of coffee.
