It's always best to find a place comfortable and familiar so you can always enjoy and frequent all the time. If I ever find myself in a coffee shop too, I'd preferred sitting by the window so I can see the outside world and feel the warmth it brings. I think sitting by the door could distract me with people coming in and going out. So, the window side is okay for me with a fuller view.
