RE: St.Petersburg coffee walks

What a lovely post!

The cafes you chose in St. petersburg are beautiful, with lots of nice textures and interesting light.

The idea of being able to take off my shoes and sit on fluffy cushions on the carpeted floor to sip my coffee or tea and read appeals to me strongly. I've always wanted to set up a part of the house to do this--and add a couple of hammocks as well--; I just hope I don't spill coffee on the carpet.

Your photos are pure aesthetic fascination, as always.

adding a couple of hammocks to your own house - thats a magic idea! we have implemented it at our countryside house. so, very soon - for the next 3 months - my wife will be enjoying her morning coffee in a hammock. but the water we have at that location is bad, not suitable for preparing coffee / tea, so it will not have a top-grade taste xD

totally agree! 🤗 thats a great option - especially if you visit such a cafe after a long walk across the city. actually, I never saw this option at any other coffeeshops except of this one. did you?..

!PIZZA

I've never seen it on this hot and windy coast.

I do have hammocks in the house though. But no cushions on the floor, impossible unless I prepare an air-conditioned room, not only because of the heat but because of the joyful, playful flying dust. It's everywhere.

Ah! I understand this nuance now.
