Alone or accompanied, but always with a good coffee.

Loving greetings to all my Hive friends, especially coffee lovers. It gives me great pleasure to be back in this beautiful community sharing in this week's Spill The Beans initiative. The truth is that I have been thinking about how I enjoy coffee the most, whether it is being alone or in company. It's been a long time since I've spent time alone, as I'm usually with my life partner. We like to share everything together and since we have the same job, it is common for us to share even our workspaces, as well as every cup of coffee.

I also find it a bit hard to imagine myself enjoying a coffee alone, as I have always seen it as a social drink, so what I like most about coffee is that it promotes encounters and good conversations. Even so I will not deny that circumstantially I have enjoyed a good cup of coffee without the need to be accompanied.

So I can say that my perfect moment to enjoy a coffee alone is exactly when I sit down to write for Hive. This small space, in one of the corners of the living room, where I have my desk and computer, is the perfect hiding place to wrap myself in the aroma of coffee and let myself fall in love with its flavors without anyone else participating. So while I drink cup after cup, my ideas flow and I write for you what comes from my heart.

In that little space-time where it's just me and the coffee, I have captured my best ideas, confessions, anecdotes and stories to publish in my blog and it has been a fascinating experience. Besides Hive, I also enjoy coffee alone when I watch some of my favorite TV shows. My dear @aly.squid and I enjoy many shows together, but I love documentaries and she does not. So when I sit down with my cup of coffee to watch some documentary, it's also just the coffee and me together.

The truth is that I have had a hard time reflecting on those moments when I drink my coffee alone. As I said at the beginning, I am always accompanied by my dear Aly. In fact the pictures I share with you in this post, are from our most recent visit to our favorite coffee shop “La Gran Cosecha” where I enjoyed my coffee with one of my favorite companions: Cheese fingers. At this coffee and pastry shop they make delicious puff pastry fingers filled with cheese. This is wonderful because for me coffee is also a good excuse to snack.

Anyway, I deeply appreciate this space to think a little about my coffee habits. Every day we learn a little about ourselves, that is interesting and even more so if it is related to coffee.
