☕I've always loved coffee, but for a while it was making me a little nervous. When I would add milk to make it milder, I would feel sick, so I stopped drinking it for a while. I missed it so much that I wanted to give it another try. To avoid feeling sick, I started drinking it with coconut milk. The problem is that coconut milk spoils quickly and is scarce and a little expensive in my city. So I started making my own coconut milk to store it. I freeze it in ice cube trays so it doesn't spoil and so there is no waste. When I make coconut milk, I make enough for it to last me a month or a little longer.☕
🥥I start by draining the coconut water by opening one of the holes with a corkscrew. Once the water has drained, I open the coconut and remove the flesh. I wash it and blend it with the water and a little more water. I use about 2 cups of water per coconut. First, I use one cup of the coconut water and then, after it is already blended, I let it soak in the next cup of hot filtered water so that the coconut flesh releases a little more flavor.🥥
I filter the mixture so that there are no pieces of coconut and then I place it in the ice cube trays to freeze. To make hot coffee with these ice cubes, I melt them in the microwave and, with a hand mixer or blender, I combine and froth the coconut milk.🥥
🥥☕All that's left is to combine the coconut milk with the coffee and enjoy. I know it may sound a little complicated, but once the freezing process is done, it is very simple. It takes no more than 4 minutes and the result is a delicious and creamy coffee.☕🥥
I am very happy to have found this way in which coffee agrees with me in my nerves and stomach.☕🥥✨
