Greetings fellow coffee lovers! Today I stop by The Coffee Shop Prompt Week 71 where we are invited to reflect on Who is your favorite person to have a coffee with? And I confidently dare to answer: and why not? Myself.

I have a great list of people I love to hang out with and share my favorite beverage. My mom, with whom I have gone out countless times and who passed on my love for coffee to me. My sisters, separately and at some point in a group, we always share coffee, chat and have fun.

There are also my friends, to whom I owe a meeting soon with coffee and catching up.

My husband, who always accompanies me and with whom I share almost every morning coffee. Without a doubt he is the person at the top of my list.

But this time it's different. This time my favorite person to enjoy a cappuccino with was myself. After a stressful few days of work, a confrontation with everyday events, I decided to escape and took refuge in one of my favorite coffee shops in town.

El Caserito, that cozy place I had told you about before, is better than ever.

While I was getting lost in their books, because their collection increased considerably since the last time I visited them, I found some miniature books that I loved. The cutest thing was that they had a mini bookshelf to accommodate them.

Then they settled me on their comfortable sofa while they prepared my cappuccino. When it arrived I was served at one of the tables and the service brought a couple of donuts with nutella which I loved. These things definitely brighten my day.

I walked up to the counter to pay the bill. Surprise! It was a total of $1.2 for that delicious coffee and the 2 nutella donuts. I paid happily and was handed my change with a card that had a message on it: customers like you are worth gold. Along with a chocolate coin.

All the heavy stuff from the previous days was forgotten in that moment. I deserved this and these are some of the habits I have, even though many times I don't have time, it is always good to have an appointment with myself and clear my mind of everything around me.

I hope you are encouraged to have a coffee date like mine. It's relaxing and renewing. If you've done it before leave me a comment and tell me about your experience. Thanks for supporting my publication. See you next time. Bye!
