Fungi Friday: the difficulty of hunting mushrooms during the dry season

in FungiFriday4 months ago

Hello friends #fungifriday everyone

The dry season is almost two months old, almost in the entire area where I live the soil has dried up, and the wood that is usually moist and weathered is now starting to dry out, I feel that this week I can't give some types of beautiful mushrooms, almost five days I focus on hunting mushrooms but only today I got two types of mushrooms during the dry season, For me there is no word of despair, the important thing is to try and will definitely get the results.

The type of gergiit mushroom is indeed relatively old in hitchhiking, but if the dry season is long like the current one that we feel, of course they will also become extinct, in the middle of the mushroom hunt I saw one of the areca nut tree trunks on the edge of the fence which was covered with weeds there were several growth points of one type of gergigit mushroom that was still relatively healthy, As soon as I saw this mushroom, of course my heart began to be relieved, because on this special Friday I can present them in front of all of you, even though it grows in the dry season, this type of mushroom always presents the charm of beauty from the gills on its body.

In a different place I rediscovered one of the types of chicken thigh mushroom, this type of mushroom has one of its uniqueness, where the whole body is filled with soft fluff, but I found it when the hat bud just appeared, if I saw the hat bud start to bloom it would certainly be more beautiful and fascinating, but there is no harm in seeing it today, Even though the hat does not bloom but from the shape alone it has started to look pleasant, fortunately I found it in one of the wood that has dried but the buds of the hat are still covered with bark slabs, to take pictures of it more easily I have to peel it off at several corners so that this fungus is a little visible.

Next to it is one of the chicken thigh mushrooms that has expired, I don't let them disappear, of course I took some pictures of these types of mushrooms, goodbye friends, hopefully next time I can still see you again.
