DISTRACTION...

distraction, a state of being drawn away from focus. These days people are distracted by a lot of things from the buzzing of their phones to constant notifications on their phones. As this helps to put the brain on break from all seriousness it also might divert your attention from the importance of your free time. Free time is meant for the brain to rest after going through stress but to most of us that is the best time to press our phones.

This morning I decided to take a break from my morning routine which is following my workers to the market to get necessary items for today's work instead I decided to stay home so has to be more active on HIVE and to start my preparation for my upcoming exams well, it did not go as planned because instead of me to be active on hive I decided to use my free period to be scrolling through TikTok for almost 1hr before I realized that I was wasting my precious time getting my self distracted from the necessary to the unnecessary.

Aside from the scenario above there are other effects of distraction.

-Relationship instability
When you focus more on your phones and laptops instead of putting enough time into building your relationship it can destabilize your relationship which might lead to break up or divorce from your partner.
In a relationship when the other partner focuses more on their devices it shows a strong sign of disrespect.

-Errors
You tend to make a lot of errors when your focus and attention are shifted from your work.
While working and you are distracted by the buzzing of your cell phone this could lead to making mistakes which is why most companies don’t accept the usage of phones while at work

-Productivity
Because you are distracted the ability for you to retain information could be very low which could lead to low productivity.
Sometimes I like to use my phone notepad to create my content and whenever a notification pops in I quickly leave the notepad to attend to the notification which might take me a longer time to return to the notepad making my productivity level very low.

-sleep deprivation
This is very common among the teenagers. when it is time to put the brain to rest that will be the exact moment you will remember you have not fought one enemy in call of duty mobile game which is very bad and harmful to the brain

Distraction might sound very bad and not but at the same time needed and helpful for the brain to get refreshed it should be I’m minimal it won’t have negative effects on us
