Ecclesiastes 3:2 "A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;"

We cannot escape the reality of death in life.

The Bible makes no mention of a predetermined period for your dying. It says that only one death has been planned for each of us. There will be judgment after death (not reincarnation.)

Hebrews 9:27

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Death has its time. It is time to face death after you have lived a full life.

A time when you can honor God through your death is likewise a good time to pass away. Too many people believe that life should be seized at any costs. We belong to the Lord, and we should work to honor and please Him, whether we live or die.

Romans 14:7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

I'm preparing now so that when I die, God will be praised. Some individuals simply care about their comfort. But I want to leave a strong legacy demonstrating the truth of my belief in Jesus Christ.

My goal is to make sure that everything is in order once I have lived a full life and am confident that I have completed my course, at which point I will inform the Lord that I am prepared to return home.

There are far too many so-called "believers" who don't actually appear to believe in God or Heaven. They behave as though earthly existence is the only possibility and that every attempt should be made to prolong one's stay there at all costs.

Philippians 1:21 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Should believers have to be coerced into leaving this life in a drug-induced slumber in order to remain on this sin-filled globe for one more day rather than willingly passing away and looking forward to seeing our great Lord Jesus?

Even while none of us can claim to be experts on death, Scripture appears to imply that each person has a role to play, whether it be in hanging on for dear life or passing on (spirit)..

Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.GENESIS 25:8 8 Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.

What kind of legacy will you engender? Will your friends and family be motivated to follow you—and the One you say you are following, Jesus Christ—after witnessing your life and death?.

If you don't believe how you pass away matters to God, take a look at Hebrews 11's hall of honor of believers. Three of those named describe their departure from this world.

The entire world needs to witness how our trust in Jesus Christ allows us to pass through death in victory.

Therefore, just as we have lived in faith, let us die in faith.

DECLARATION: I shall die by faith and leave a positive legacy when I'm ready.
