ADORATION

HONORING GOD
King David began to adore the Almighty Jehovah by saying, "Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me, bless his holy name" (Psalm 103:1).

It is good to consider that we have the ability to bless, adore and worship our Creator, but time after time in the Scripture we are exhorted to do just that. We bless Him through our praise and worship of Him (Psalm 34:1-3).

GLORIFICATION
This synonyms "praise, homage, worship, tribute of gratitude, and exaltation" means the same glorification".

Glorification is an expression of admiration or appreciation. When we praise someone, we tell them how wonderful they are, or the greatness of their accomplishments. It is the same with the Lord.

Glorification has to do with acknowledging God's character and power.
The Psalmist, King David said, "Because your love is better than life, my lips will glory you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands" (Ps 63:3,4).

WHY DO WE PRAISE GOD?

  • Because of Who He Is

Sing praises to God, sing praises, sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King fall the earth, sing to him a psalm of praise (Psalm 47:6,7).

  • Because Of What He Does.
King David, the Psalmist continued to adore the Almighty Jehovah as follows: "Praise the Lord, 0 my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. He continued on the adoration as he said, "Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. King David, who knows how God Almighty pardoned him said, "He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases; He redeems my life from the pit and crowns me with love and compassion". He satisfies my desires with good things, so that my youth is renewed like the eagle " (Psalm 103:1- 5).
    WHO IS TO PRAISE GOD?
  • Those Who Seek God
They who seek the Lord will praise him...
  • Everything That Has Breath.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. >Praise the Lord" (Ps 150:6).
When Do We Praise God?

  • At All Times.

I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips' (Ps 34: 1).

  • In Every Circumstance
Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus' (I Thessalonians 5:16-18).

WHERE ARE WE TO PRAISE GOD?

  • Surrounded By God's People.

He [Jesus] says, 'I will declare your name to my brothers, in the presence of the congregation I will sing your praises " (Heb 2:12).

  • Among The Nations.

I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations,I will sing of you among the peoples" (Ps 57:9).

  • On Our Beds
The Psalmist said, "I will praise you as long as I live.... On my bed I remember you, I think of you through the watches of the night" (Ps 63:4-6).

TRIBUTE OF GRATITUDE
Whereas exaltation is an expression of admiration and appreciation, worship is an expression of love and adoration also.
Exaltation has to do with our love of the Lord. This tribute of gratitude can only be expressed with the giving of our whole heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible injunction urged humans To love Him with all our hearts, with all our understanding and with all our strength, then to love our neighbors as ourselves is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices (Mark 12:3 3).
Some religious rituals and ceremonies in Israel, mostly in the Old Testament became so intolerant to the Lord because their heart was very far from Him (Isa 1:10-15; 29:13). Today, in our contemporary society God is only interested in the genuine and sincere worship and adoration that comes from the heart.
"Yet a time is coming, and has now come, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. The Bible declares that God is spirit, and all the worshippers of God must do so in SPIRIT and TRUTH" (John 4: 4-26).
Adoring God In Spirit
Our spirit is known and addressed as the "inner man" (Eph 3:16). True worshiping takes place when the inner man, in response to the promptings of God's Spirit, expresses love and adoration to God. This can be expressed in words, such as a love-song to the Lord, or silent praises.
True worshiping requires the function of the Holy Spirit on our spirit. Therefore, only believers who are "born again of the Spirit " through faith in Jesus Christ can truly worship God (John 3:5-8). Praising God In Truth
Therefore, worshiping God in truth is to worship Him as the Bible instructed. These two young men, Nadab and Abihu (the sons of the high priest) offered strange fire before the Lord and died (Num 3:4; 26:6 1). This warning illustrates the importance of studying God's plan (the Tabernacle of Moses) for priestly ministry.
There was sacrifice, cleansing, anointing and clothing before worship (Exo 30:17-38).
Revelation 1:5, 6 makes it clear that we are washed from our sins in His own blood before being made "priests unto God*.
A teacher in the United States was training many of the leaders how to heal the sick and perform miracles.
A prophetess said to him: "The Lord says to you, 'How dare you teach those who are unclean to do my works! Stop it!'"
The priestly function required much preparation before they could go into the Holy Place to worship the Lord. To ignore the steps outlined was perilous. We must worship in truth - in the Bible way.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP IN THE BIBLE

With The Mouth: Singing (Psalm 9:2,11); Praising (Psalm 103: 1); Shouting (Psalm 47: 1).
