Gez, giving up? Nahhh. Not for me.
My being absent here for weeks wasn't just planned. But coming back is what i must do. The reason will be detailed later.
It's the 9th month of the year. This time last year i started a project of a sudden interest. Mom has always pressurized to take that part i never saw the need to, as there was lack of interest and seeing it as Mom's want but wanted to satisfy myself first. I had the urge and interest to take my cooking to the next level. As cooking was a hobby for me
Years gone, and considerations made. I decided to give it a try. I slept and woke up one morning, called dad and mom that i have developed interest in joining mom in the medical line. So i started same month we are now in 2023. Months passed and i felt i was doing to much and am stressing myself, so i stopped my doing. Two months later i started again.
Fast forward to January 2024, i started again, decided not to give up. At the long run i made up mind to enhancing my cooking skills by enrolling into a catering class.
A native food i love but never knew how to make and i learnt. Bambara nut locally known as OKPA
Ofada stew, also a native food.
Chicken curry sauce and Oriental rice prepared with basmati, never knew the price of basmati rice has sky rocketed till i went to make a purchase for this.
All the above pictures are mine and good results i have gotten from my cooking class.
So far so good, it has been a wonderful journey all the way. And as it is now am determined to render in and out door cooking services. Start up my own cooking school without looking back and achieving my set goals. Am happy at the level my ladder is, and climbing gradually is what i want to keep doing. More things to do.
