When the word holiday comes into our mind the first thing come in our mind is the relaxing at the beach or enjoying the beauty of the nature in mountains. Holidays are for relaxing and have fun and make wonderful memories, the memories make us happy, laugh in future also. This is a time when we forgot all the worries and chaos of life. When I was kid the holidays means to me was going to meet my cousins and live with them for some time or my cousins come to our place and we have lots of fun. I still remember when we got the holdings form the school the first question we ask our parents is that when we will visit our Nanka (my mother's parental home). It was a time when we all cousins come to the Nanka place and it looks like their is some function I going on. The children of my aunts and uncles all come and we all have a good time together and have lots of fun. I know every kid love such environment and my kid is also not an exception. Her cousin sister and brother come to our place twice a year once in the month of June or July and second time in December. They have long holiday twice a year in summer and in winter. So during the holidays their preferred place is hour home only. Their are some reason for it and the very first is the society were we live, it's full of greenery and has good space for kids to play. We have a mango three in front of our home and everyone love those delicious Mangoes. In last month also they all come to our place and my kids was on cloud seven.
The schools were declared winter holidays form 22nd of December, their first priority was to complete the holiday work so that they can enjoy the rest of the holidays. They come to our place on 25th after visiting my in-law place. My kids was very excited and start planning when she comes to know that that are on the way. I was out of station so she give me calls to hare the news. I also come back in the evening. We purchase one sofa cum bed also for such occasions and I was glad that we were able to use it very effectively. It was the start of winter season and the cold wave was not started so it's was comfortable to go out and play in sun light. They goes to park in the evening or when for a badminton game. We have a indoor badminton court in our society premises. The special day during those holiday was the 27th December as this was the birthday of cousin. Again Gurseerat was super excited for the day, she asked Mumma if we can go to market to purchase the items required for the decoration and also some gift for her. We went to market day before the birthday for the shopping but we intentionally do not take the birthday girl with us as we want it to be surprised for her. My sister-in-law buy one nice dress for her and my wife purchased one nice pair of shoes for her. My kid Gurseerat also purchased one doll for her. After that we went to another market form where we purchased some items for decoration. We come back home but not shown anything to the birthday girl.
The kids are always excited for their birthday and it's applicable to the elders also up to some extend. Keerat - the birthday girl woke up early on her birthday and as expected was super excited. I along with my wife wished her happy birthday. I went for the office and my wife and other kids start the decoration. I come back form office in the afternoon so that I can also joined for the cake cutting ceremony. My wife and all kids has done a wonderful job as the decoration was very nice. We ordered pizza for all and my wife also fried one potato smiles along with French fries. All food was delicious. I clicked some pics of them. Sharing the same her.
