An improvised roadside trash pickup

in CLEAN PLANET7 months ago (edited)

Hi friends,

There are times that one without having in mind to do a good deed does it improvisedly and in turn is very cut with it.

Yesterday afternoon, my boss told me if I could take one of our cars to change the wheels this morning to a specialist tire shop located in the industrial area of Argame (Morcín-Asturias).

Because the estimated time to change the wheels was about 45 minutes, in order not to be waiting in the workshop, I decided to walk through the industrial estate to a road that led me to a gas station where there was a bar.

There I enjoyed a delicious coffee and toast with butter and jam, which was my breakfast.

The morning was sunny, but at the same time cold, but the landscape was very beautiful and green. How beautiful is nature and our planet!

As I was walking along, I first noticed that I had thrown a glass of cocoa in the gutter and even though I didn't have a bag to pick up the garbage, I decided to carry it in my hand until I found a trash can.

A few meters ahead I noticed that there was also a large bottle of coke and a can of soda. So in the other hand that I had free I also picked up this waste from the ground.

About 200 meters away I found a garbage can to dispose of these containers.

And to record my action, I downloaded the Time Stamp app to take a picture of myself throwing the coke bottle in the garbage can.

As you can see, these three containers I deposited in the garbage can in the hopes that they will be taken to a recycling center to give these containers a second use.

Best of all, I felt very good about myself doing this little trash pickup that was on the stretch of road from the gas station to the industrial park and I wanted to share it with all of you.

Be clean, don't litter and, if you see litter even if you don't have a bag, take it back to a container or garbage can. Many small gestures like this from many people will make us have a better and cleaner world.

I hope I followed the rules for posting in this community correctly that I read in @cleanplanet's post.
