Good day dear friends of the #cleanplanet community.
It's a new month and I wish everyone happiness and strength to see the next year. As a way to mark a new month, I also decided to embark on a cleaning activity but this time not just on my street but from the street to some homes. I concluded cleaning activity for today at my pastor’s house and he was happy as I've saved him some stress from cleaning his environment after church service.
Guess what the picture above is, lol? That's a symbol of celebration, Christmas and New Year. That was one of the trash I picked up during my cleaning activity for today. The paper trash is actually a pack of fireworks popularly known as “knockouts” on my side. Children this season will never let the street be quiet as they will always disturb the atmosphere with sounds from fireworks.
That pack on the floor reminded me of those days when I was young and I used to save my pocket money just to buy as many fireworks as possible. My parents usually discourage me from buying them because it's just the sound and light, that's all and the money used to buy them is gone. But my parents never understood the joy we derived from those sounds and accompanying lights.
So still talking more on my cleaning activity for the day, I would say it's another amazing one. I planned the areas I would visit last night and I had them covered as planned.
Here are the photos of my cleaning activity for today:
Finally, after making sure the needful was done, I made my way down to the disposal container and had the waste bag disposed of.
As you can see, the waste was showing from the waste bag because I had picked the bag that was filled and I had to press them down to fit into the picking bag. Maybe next time, I would get a bigger bag but the problem is the cost. Buying this picking bag everyday isn't a joke, so planning to go for a bigger bag isn't what I have in mind, lol.
Thanks everyone for checking up on my post.
Have a wonderful weekend and a fantastic new month.
