Good morning my people and happy new year. One thing than is mightier than sword and more profitable is wisdom. Wisdom is something that that's very germaine to human existence and it should not be joke with at all. No wonder the bible says, " if anybody lacks wisdom let him ask." This shows the importance of wisdom to human race and their living. Wisdom which according to the dictionary is the discretionary use of knowledge that points us to the future.

When talking about wisdom, like I said earlier, its mightier than sword and this can be seen in the lives of of some scriptural personalities like moses, Joseph, daniel and our lord Jesus christ. Seriously, all these people mentioned in the bible are great men and the conquered the world in their time with wisdom. So, wisdom is even mightier and powerful than sword.
Great kings in the bible conquered nations through their wisdom. One of those kings his king Solomon in the bible. He conquered nations with his wisdom and makes his own nation more wealthier than what was handed over to him by his father.

But when talking about wisdom, is wisdom common? No it's not and that's why some will say that, even common sense is not common and that is why people behave foolishly atimes. But do you know one can be wise and not act wise. How? Let be go back to the story of Solomon in the bible, though he was wise, but refuse to act in total wisdom. Come to think of it, why can't he rule his kingdom with his wisdom? Why can't he manage the wives not to turn his heart away from what he has been warned not to do.

Even some people are cunning and they think they are wise or smart, but let me tell us, they are not wise, they are only cunning like a snake. There wisdom is only meant to deceive people and bite them, depositing there venom into the life of that person and killing the person little by little. One that is certain is that, wisdom does not hurt, instead, it heals and protect. So, whenever you use your wisdom to hurt anyone it means its not wisdom but wickedness. Some even backbite and backstab and they call it wisdom. That is not wisdom but wickedness. There's wicked people in the world that you think they're friends but No! They are foes in their wickedness they call wisdom.

All these stem from the fact that, though he was wise and regarded wisest man that has ever lived even till now, but he was still foolish, he didn't act wisely and this caused him his kingdom that was later divided into two and he can't even retain his father inheritance.
What this is telling us is that, when you think you are wise, you may not be wise indeed, but think you are. Some in their wisdom, use their wisdom to fraud people, some use their wisdom to cheat, some in their wisdom hurt others. Can you imagine a man cheating on his wife and claims to be wise? Can you imagine a guy defrauding people and he still think he's smart or wise. Someone that supposed to take care of public funds and still went ahead to siphoned it also thinks he's wise in his own way. These are not wisdom per se, but an act of wickedness. Some even use their devilish wisdom to destabilize people's life or home. So, what people channel their wisdom to might the negative thing with negative effect.

One thing that's certain is that, wisdom does not come by age, your level of education, wealth, the number of wives and children , just keep on mentioning all those things. It's only come from above and it's divine. No wonder there's a saying in my language that, " age doesn't determine wisdom." An old man can be a fool and a young boy can be full of wisdom. So, it's how old you are or how much you have that determine how wise you are.

But one thing I no about wisdom is that, it comes with obedience and love. When you obey, you have wisdom and this is because, obedience is better than sacrifice. So, obedience is the sacrifice to wisdom. And like the popular bible verse that says, " the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. " so, for one to get, without there must be fear of God. The fear here is not by trembling but just to love.

Thanks for reading.
