Today Kaleb was at creche, so me and Aimee decided to have a wander around town and see if we could find anything of interest while out and about.
We stopped into a record shop in her town, which has been around for years, I was looking through the CDs because there's a few albums I'd love to own, sadly though, I couldn't find them. Then I saw this in the front row of some Records.
I don't own a record player, and have a piddly record collection; 2 7" EPs and one LP, of a few bands I know.
I thought it was just a Conflict album, and may not have bought it had I not read the small bit of writing at the bottom of the label.
Live in Dublin 2024; I was actually at that gig, and it was brilliant. I was chatting with the owner of the shop about it and he said it was well recorded, so it was a no brainer, I had to pick it up.
We had a good chat about the different gigs and festivals that have been going on over the past few weeks/ months.
I haven't been to a gig in a while, but me and Aimee have tickets from Cradle of Filth in November, and we're going to buy tickets to see Pantera for their gig in February.
21 songs, including a new one.
It's funny that when at a gig you barely notice the time going past, and then it seems to be over. They were great on the night, and I'd like to hear the gig again, but from what it felt like, it didn't seem like 21 songs.
I saw this down in one of the other shops and decided to snag it.
It's not necessarily a big seller, but it's another thing to throw up online. I got it for €2 and it seems like €6+ which isn't too bad.
I've decided that games I have that are worth less than €5, will either be shipped with standard post. There is a risk that the buyer may pretend it never arrived and get their money back, so the risk is loosing some money, but it would give a good incentive to move some stuff quickly, and that would be worth the risk.
It has some sheets, and a manual inside, and the disk is very clean.
I have also started selling and shipping bundles, which is a good way to move less sought after games, and it is also better for the buyer to only have to pay one shipping.
While at the counter I saw some Lego people and chose these three at random.
They were €1 each, and when I got them home I realised that they weren't actually complete. Body's, limbs, and hats have been swapped around so it's hard to know if they'd sell, or what they would sell for.
I'm going to pick up Lego figures here and there when I see them, and when I have a few I'll start listing them. Some figures can be sought after, and picking them up for a Euro a piece, there is a good chance to make a few bob on them.
