Here we go again. I've managed to get another couple of sets constructed, while they're smaller ones, they're still fairly cool looking, especially seeing them completed.
I started off with the Brute Lance set, and this one was fairly simplistic.
Starting off with this couple of pieces, I got assembling.
It's a small barricade.
It is missing 3 pieces; I dug around for them for a while, before building this, but decided to forget about it and just get on with the build.
Recently, I was made aware of one thing. Megablocks/ Contrux has had a tendency to add too much of one piece, and none of another. This problem is very common, so there is a chance that these pieces were never apart of the bundle.
While that's a possibility, it is also possible that I have put them into one of the many bags while organising, and missed them in my search.
Next was the tower, which is kind of the centre piece of the set itself.
It looks kind of like an upside-down, strange-coloured palm tree.
Three pieces similar to the barricades design attach to the top of it, forming the shape of this small structure.
Every set I complete is more blocks out of circulation, and as I've said in the past, each complete set, makes completing the next ones less of a chore.
I don't really find this a chore, however, and wish I had more time to do it. This evening is the only evening this week I can actually dedicate to doing this, which is a pain, but it's just the way it is.
Here it is complete with all four brutes and their weapons. The barricade is the only thing missing pieces, and at that, it's only 3, which I'm sure will show up.
Here's another angle of the set, and I have to say, the power stance of the brute on the tower, wielding the brute shot, is pretty badass.
I have a few of these small sets that I'm currently in the middle of building, and I'm hoping to get through a few of them tonight if I can. I'm up early tomorrow, so I can't spend too long doing it.
I had another sale - well, two sales - this week, which I'm delighted about.
Selling the four figures on Sunday was great, and I've been talking with the guy since. He actually wanted to buy one of the ships I have up too, but I had already sent the parcel.
He said he wanted to buy a few more things I have up, and I told him to just wait and purchase a few items together. He'll save on shipping and I'll do him a deal on bundles.
Then, on Wednesday night, I sold Black Ops 2, with the steel case, and two minutes later, the same guy also bought Goldeneye. I packaged both items together and they were sent to him today.
