My husband and I

Happy weekend, amazing people!

Today started off a bit rough for me, thanks to my noisy neighbors, who decided that 3 a.m. was the perfect time for a loud chat session right outside my window. Needless to say, my sleep was disrupted, and I woke up with a pounding headache a few hours ago. Desperate for some peace and a caffeine fix, I knew I had to find a quiet and serene spot to unwind. Recalling a previous visit to a university coffee shop tucked under a bridge, I decided to reminisce about that tranquil setting. The last time my family and I stopped by, it was a memorable experience, and I thought it would be great to share some photos from that day. While I've written about the cafe before, today I'm excited to focus more on the breathtaking view that captivated us during our visit. Get ready to join me on this visual journey as I take you through the picturesque scenes that made our day truly special.

On one beautiful sunny morning, my husband, daughter, and I wanted to break the routine and enjoy a leisurely walk with a side of breakfast. So, we decided to go out of town and ended up at the charming cafe by the river in Bauang, La Union. It was less than an hour of travel by trike from our house to the cafe and it was smooth travel, I must say.

Just as we stepped into the cafe, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the alluring scent of pastries excited us, signaling the start of a fantastic day ahead. Eager to kick off our adventure, we quickly grabbed a morning snack and made our way outside to enjoy the hidden gem of the riverside view beneath the bridge. I also love the decor in the cafe, which I already posted in my previous blogs months ago. They have dried flowers, coffee memorabilia from different countries, a gorgeous garden-themed ambiance and a hippie-style dining area.

Moving on to the riverside, we had to walk a few minutes away from the cafe, passing through some dense bushes on the sides and hearing some insect noises. We immersed ourselves in the calming ambiance, letting the peacefulness of the flowing water wash away any worries. This idyllic spot became our sanctuary, a place to unwind, connect with nature, and create cherished family memories. The sun's rays played on the water's surface, casting a magical glow that transported us away from the chaos of everyday life. We took a few minutes to leisurely stroll along the riverside, absorbing the soothing melody of the calm water and the gentle rustle of the breeze through the trees surrounding the area. It was a moment of pure bliss and togetherness as we shared conversation and the simple joy of being in each other's company amidst the beauty of our surroundings. The serene moment by the river with my family, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, was truly invaluable. The tranquility of the scene, free from any crowds or the usual noise of busy life, created a priceless experience.

Our visit to Cafe by the River was more than just a breakfast stop; it was a beautiful opportunity to unwind, savor the simple joys of life, and create enduring memories with our dear ones. The riverside setting, the tranquil atmosphere, and the gentle touch of the sun combined to make our time truly magical and unforgettable. Leaving the cafe, we felt refreshed, thankful for the shared moments, and excited to revisit this hidden paradise in Bauang, La Union. Our family stroll along the river at Cafe by the River was a perfect mix of relaxation, nature, and closeness that we will treasure for years to come.

Anyway, the rain is starting to pour and I am in need of another cup of coffee. I wish you all a magical day, wherever you may be. Thank you for stopping by!
