Center of the new town
Center of the Old Town
There were many buildings dating from the 1500's
Nearby we discovered some graffiti
With Halloween approaching, things are busy with preparations. The weather has been really warm for this time of year and is perfect for heading outdoors. As we still had quite a lot of things to do, we only managed to head out in the late afternoon to somewhere nearby.
The weather was still lovely and warm and there are plenty of places to visit. We chose Jugenheim which is one of the first small towns at the beginning of the "Bergstraße". This is a very nice area to walk around with some history and is very close to nature.
We started off in the new part of town and there were many people getting ice cream and coffee from the coffee shop. There were a couple of restaurants that were also bustling and full of people enjoying their food outside. I didn't manage to capture it on time, but I saw a very nice McClaren car which, you do not see so often as the least expensive model starts at around $300k!
After we strolled toward the old town where we found some really old buildings including a "Pfarrhaus" which is a vicarage. Jugenheim is over 750 years old according to the information we found in the old town and reading the signs on the old buildings.
Next, we headed back toward the town and came across this graffiti near the open-air swimming pool. All in all, a very nice stroll and worth visiting.
Thanks for reading.
