Another blazing hot and humid day in Hiroshima. I fancy a nice refreshing drink but don't want to go outside again today...

Luckily, I still have seven lemons and a bottle of soda water left from making spritzers the other day...

Here's my blog post about making spritzers: https://hive.blog/hive-147010/@hirohurl/summer-spritzer-blitz

And I still have one 500ml can of Yebisu Premium lager from the presentation box my student gave me last week...

Let's make lemon shandy!

First, I had to wash and clean the long neglected Zojirushi fruit juicer, then chopped four of the lemons and put them through the juicer.

Next, I poured the lemon juice into the big plastic jug and added the soda water. Then I cracked open the beer and poured that in and gave the mixture a gentle stir.

Finally, grab a beer glass from the freezer, tip in some ice and pour in the lemon shandy!

That's me set for the evening.

Cheers!
