En mi ciudad son cada vez más los emprendimientos que hay y me encanta pasar de vez en cuando por algún bazar para conocer nuevas marcas que están creciendo en la ciudad. Hace un par de días asistí a un bazar.
There are more and more startups popping up in my city, and I love browsing bazaars every now and then to discover new local brands on the rise. Just a couple of days ago, I went to a bazaar.
La organizadora de este bazar ya había hecho uno antes que no me gustó tanto por la poca cantidad de espacio que había para moverse, la gran cantidad de emprendimientos y la poca afluencia de público. Supongo que el espacio también jugó en contra porque eran dos salones pequeños del segundo piso de un restaurante y habían aproximadamente 20 emprendimientos en 60 metros cuadrados.
The organizer of this bazaar had already held one before that I didn't enjoy as much. There wasn't enough space to move around comfortably, there were too many vendors, and the turnout wasn't great. I guess the venue itself played a part in that. It was two small rooms on the second floor of a restaurant, and there were about 20 vendors crammed into 60 square meters.
Esta vez cambió de locación y lo hizo en un área grande de un centro comercial, además de firmar con menos emprendedores. Así estuvo mucho mejor porque se podía ver cada expositor y había bastante espacio para caminar.
This time, the organizer changed locations to a large area in a shopping mall and signed up fewer vendors. It was a much better experience! I could see each exhibitor clearly, and there was plenty of space to walk around.
Muchos de estos emprendedores aún no tienen una tienda física y solo venden online, ya que tener un espacio propio al iniciar un negocio puede ser complicado. Por eso, estos bazares son una excelente oportunidad para ver los productos de primera mano y generar confianza en los clientes, demostrando que son una tienda real.
Many of these entrepreneurs don't have a physical store yet and only sell online because starting out can make it difficult to have their own space. That's why these bazaars are such a great way for them to showcase their products firsthand and build trust with customers, proving they're a legitimate business.
Pude ver muchas cosas que me llamaron la atención como joyería a buen precio, ropa deportiva, muñecos tejidos a crochet y un par de cosas más. Debo aceptar que aún me da un poco de pena tomar fotos de otras personas, pero siento que poco a poco va a ir fluyendo más.

There were lots of things that caught my eye, like affordable jewelry, sportswear, crocheted dolls, and a few other things. I have to admit, I still feel a little shy taking photos of other people, but I have a feeling I'll get more comfortable with it over time.
