Since the social media has been born, there are many news that the society or the people hear from different kinds of places. There were accidents, events, tour, and etc.
Anything is possible to be posted in a social media just like when you are working in a company that you also share about your experience in that past few days or weeks and share your life inside a company.
But do I think social media is necessary for the workers to submit their social media to the company to have a better image of the organization?
I think it is not necessary because we have our own life and social media is one of the best source to look for work, buy things, chat and connect with our families, relatives, and friends.
If the company will require all the employees to submit their social media, I think that's not a good way for them because employees have their own way of doing things in their own social media and the company that these employees work is not their last company that they are working and they will resign someday or work in another company, too.
One of my suggestion is that making an alias or another account for the company that employees will use for work so that employees can easily navigate on the account for work and for personal use but I think it depends on the person's area of responsibility in a company if they ever needed to submit their social media or not.
Although there are times that we use our own account for the company like meetings, gatherings, and stuffs because that's the easy way to communicate with each other but not to submit their own social media to these company because the employee will not have their own privacy when that time comes.
Just like me that I used my own account of my social media to connect with other employees like asking them, updating, and stuffs.
It's better to be like this that we can easily use freely our account than submitting our very own social media that we've been building this account since we were still a student and we have so many friends that we made during the years that we've been a student. Some were our lovers, families, and even friends. It's also been a part of our life for these social media.
I think for me, It's the employees choice if they want to submit their social media to the company but the company will not require all the employees to submit their own social media and they do not force these employees to get their social media instead, if there will be posts or any other activities that they do in their social media that is related to the company's rules and regulation, that is the time that these companies will interact with the employee about the situation.
