For a couple of years, thanks to the theatre, our round of friendships has expanded. New friends, linked to other companies or associations, other experiences, other places.
It so happens that every now and then a birthday pops up to celebrate, an opportunity to get together and have a little party.
In July though, there is a special birthday tied to one of our friends. It's Sky's birthday, his Samoiedo. Sky is a huge white-haired ball and today we found ourselves at his house to celebrate it with a nice barbeque.
Too bad that, as sometimes happens, you get your hand caught and more than grilling, there is a drink. Luckily it's very hot and so it's easy to hold a cool beer in your hand.
The day passed quietly, between a beer, a sausage, a small bath in the small pool and a cuddle to the birthday boy.
We talked about theatre, travel, hopes for the future and plans for the fall.
In the end there was so much stuff to drink, that they forced us to bring our beers home.
It will be for next time!
Da un paio di anni, grazie al teatro, il nostro giro di amicizie si è ampliato. Nuovi amici, legati ad altre compagnie o associazioni, altre esperienze, altri luoghi.
Capita così che ogni tanto salti fuori un compleanno da festeggiare, una occasione per ritrovarsi e fare un po’ di festa.
A luglio però, c’è un compleanno speciale legato ad uno dei nostri amici. È il compleanno di Sky, il suo Samoiedo. Sky è un enorme batuffolo di pelo bianco e oggi ci siamo trovati a casa sua per festeggiarlo con una bella grigliata.
Peccato che, come a volte succede, ci si faccia prendere la mano e più che da grigliare, ci sia da bere. Fortuna che fa molto caldo e quindi viene facile tenere una birra fresca in mano.
La giornata è scorsa tranquilla, tra una birra, una salsiccia, un piccolo bagno nella piccola piscina e una coccola al festeggiato.
Abbiamo parlato di teatro, viaggi, speranze per il futuro e progetti per l’autunno.
Alla fine c’era talmente tanta roba da bere, che ci hanno obbligati a riportare le nostre birre a casa.
