With a couple of friends we decided to go to a Palestinian restaurant for dinner in Brescia. We had wanted to spend an evening with these friends for a long time, but we couldn't find an opportunity.
Coincidentally she showed up at the last minute and so we got in the car and left. The idea was to first have an aperitif and then dinner, we also already had in mind the place where we can have a drink: Madera. All good, we arrive, we park not far from Piazzale Arnaldo, two steps on foot and bam! The place is closed! And now?
We opt for a random bar closer to where we will have dinner.
The aperitif is good, the dinner too, what amazed me is how beautiful Brescia is in the evening. There is something in the lighting that I can't explain, I found it really a beautiful city, with its own identity and charm. There were a lot of people around, you can feel their energy, but it's still something that I found elegant and not brutal.
It had been at least a year that I hadn't gone downtown and I've never been to admire it like this time. I want to go back.
Con un paio di amici abbiamo deciso di andare a cena a Brescia in un ristorante palestinese. Era da tempo che volevamo passare una serata con questi amici, ma non trovavamo una occasione.
Casualmente si è presentata all’ultimo e così siamo saliti in auto e partiti. L’idea era di farci prima un aperitivo e poi la cena, avevamo anche già in mente il locale dove bere qualcosa: Madera. Tutto bello, arriviamo, parcheggiamo poco lontano da Piazzale Arnaldo, due passi a piedi e sbam! Il locale è chiuso! E ora?
Optiamo per un baretto a caso più vicino a dove ceneremo.
L’aperitivo va bene, la cena pure, quello che mi ha stupito è quanto sia bella Brescia di sera. C’è qualcosa nella illuminazione che non mi spiego, l’ho trovata davvero una bella città, con una sua identità e un suo fascino. C’era un sacco di gente in giro, si percepisce la sua energia, ma comunque risulta qualcosa che ho trovato elegante e non brutale.
Era almeno un anno che non andavo in centro e mai come questa volta sono rimasto ad ammirarla. Ho voglia di tornarci.
