My Game Activity and Progress + Focus on CROP Market Value
Today, about fifteen days since my last post on the same topic, I share my game activity, achievements and progress on dCrops which is a Hive-based farming game that I have been playing since the first season.
Today, after about fifteen days since my last post on the same topic, I am sharing my game activity, achievements and progress on dCrops which is a Hive-based farming game I have been playing since the first season.
On dCrops the seasons are much shorter in duration than in real life because they last 15 days.
On dCrops the fall season is underway, which started just under three days ago and will end in 12 days and 8 hours.
On August 24, 2024, dCrops announced and introduced a new purchase option in the Shop: the starter packs.
Starter packs offer a useful purchase option for new players to start playing because they contain the minimum needed to play in each season:
- 4 seed-type NFTs (each seed is plantable in one of the four seasons)
- 1 land-type NFT in which a single seed can be planted per season
- 60 Boosters
In my previous post I advised a hypothetical new player to:
- purchase a single starter pack that has a cost of $5 to quickly and immediately understand how to play the game
- and then prefer to purchase the Alpha packs because they cost less than the starter packs and contain 5 NFTs (not soulbound). Also, in the Alpha packs the probability of finding land-type NFTs with more plots is high.
If you want to see what is possible to find in Alpha packs you can read a previous post of mine in which I shared the opening of 33 Alpha packs within which I found 26 land-type NFTs demonstrating that finding land-type NFTs in an Alpha pack is not a sure thing but is a likely event.

A season number 83 is currently in progress on dCrops.
During each season I like to use the View Last Season Leaderboard feature to get useful information about the number of active players and CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season.
In the previous season, season 82, players earned 0.398 CROP per SHARE point.
SHARE points are earned in various ways but the main way is through the game activity = the sale of agricultural products (crops).
The gain in CROP per share point is something I consider important and like to monitor, which is why I share this information in each of my posts on dCrops.
For example, a decrease in CROP/SHARE ratio in two seasons could be a positive figure because it could be caused by an increase in the number of active players.
Unfortunately, I did not take a screenshot of the CROP/SHARE ratio of season 80 but I will try not to miss the data of future seasons.
Starting from season 78 I also began to keep track of the number of active players season after season.
In season 82 there were 264 active players while in season 81 there were 267 active players with a decrease of only 3 players.
Regarding my game activity this season, I have started slightly late because the fall season has started almost three days ago, but I am still in time to plant all my seeds and have the time needed to mature them all.
In each season, before planting my seeds, I perform the claim of rewards of seasonal quests.
In season 82 I completed all the seasonal quests and based on the value of my CROP Power (84468) I made the claim of 15 chests.
In the next few days I will try to increase my CROP Power because I am very close to reaching a CROP Power score of 85K points with which I can receive 16 Chests instead of the 15 I receive with my current CROP POWER = 84468,578
In the next image you can see the probability of finding a particular item within 1 chest.
Within the 15 Chests I opened today I found:
- 3 NFTs of Resource type (1 Iron Ore + 1 Stone + 1 Wood)
- 3 Craft Items
- 7 Boosters
- 50 Gas
I was much luckier in the previous season with the content of the chests because I found 7 NFTs of Resource type in 15 chests while today I found only 3 NFTs of resource type but I am still satisfied even considering that I found 1 Iron Ore which has a market value of 3,290 HIVE.
With the new seasonal quests I have been very unlucky because out of 7 total quests I have received 5 quests that I cannot complete because:
- I do not have 2 Kidney Beans (3 stars), 2 Bok Choy (2 stars) and 3 Corn (2 stars) in my inventory and the cost to buy them in the Farmers Market is higher than the cost of the Reroll.
- I do not have NFT of seed type King Weed and Sunflower to complete the 2 harvest type quests.
To have 7 out of 7 completed quests I used the Reroll feature eight times and spent a total of 80 CROP.
Regarding the planting operation this season even though I started the planting operation almost three days late I still have enough days for all my seeds to mature.
The only problem is related to my 17 Pumpkin seeds which have a maturity time of 12 days because planting them today I will have 8 hours before the end of the season to harvest them and knowing me I might forget.
For extra peace of mind I used 6 Speed-gro boosters in 6 of my lands to accelerate the maturation time of my Pumpkin seeds
As you can see in the next screenshot I have reduced the maturation time of my 17 Pumpkin seeds and some will be mature in less than 7 days instead of 12 days.
In the screenshot below you can see all the seeds I planted today.
I like to monitor the value of the tokens in the games I play and/or have invested in, and I will end the dCrops portion of this post with a little focus on the value of the CROP token.
In the next image you can see the difference in value in SWAP.HIVE and in dollars recorded by the CROP token in the time interval: August 28, 2024 - September 14, 2024.
Compared to August 28, 2024, the dollar value of the HIVE token is the same: 0.18$.
Compared to August 28, 2024, the dollar value of the CROP token has decreased:
- Highest Bid value: -0.0001100$ = -10.67%
- Lowest Ask value: -0.000212 = -16.83%

La mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi su dCrops
Oggi, dopo circa quindici giorni dal mio ultimo post sullo stesso argomento, condivido la mia attività di gioco, i miei risultati e i miei progressi su dCrops che è un Hive-based farming game a cui gioco fin dalla prima stagione.
Su dCrops le stagioni hanno una durata molto più breve rispetto alla vita reale perchè durano 15 giorni.
Su dCrops è in corso la stagione autunnale che è iniziata poco meno di tre giorni fa e terminerà tra 12 giorni e 8 ore.
Il 24 agosto 2024 dCrops ha annunciato e ha introdotto una nuova opzione di acquisto nello Shop: gli starter packs.
Gli starter packs offrono un opzione di acquisto utile per i nuovi giocatori per iniziare a giocare perchè contengono tutto il necessario per giocare in ogni stagione:
- 4 NFT di tipo seme (ogni seme è piantabile in una delle quattro stagioni)
- 1 NFT di tipo land nel quale è possibile piantare un singolo seme per stagione
- 60 Boosters
Nel mio precedente post ho consigliato ad un ipotetico nuovo giocatore di:
- acquistare un singolo starter pack che ha un costo di 5$ per capire subito e velocemente come giocare
- per poi preferire l'acquisto degli Alpha pack perchè hanno un costo inferiore rispetto agli Starter packs e contengono 5 NFT (non soulbound). Inoltre negli Alpha packs la probabilità di trovare NFT di tipo land con un numero maggiore di plots è alta.
Se vuoi vedere cosa è possibile trovare negli Alpha packs puoi leggere un mio precedente post in cui ho condiviso l'apertura di 33 Alpha packs all'interno dei quali ho trovato 26 NFT di tipo land a dimostrazione che trovare NFT di tipo land in un Alpha pack non è un evento sicuro ma è un evento probabile.

Su dCrops è in corso la stagione numero 83.
Durante ogni stagione mi piace utilizzare la funzionalità View Last Season Leaderboard per avere informazioni utili sul numero di giocatori attivi e sul rapporto CROP/SHARE relativi alla precedente stagione.
Nella stagione precedente, la stagione 82, i giocatori hanno guadagnato 0.398 CROP per ogni punto SHARE.
I punti share si ottengono in vari modi ma il modo principale è tramite l'attività di gioco = la vendita dei prodotti agricoli (crops).
Il guadagno in CROP per punto share è un elemento che considero importante e che mi piace monitorare e per questo motivo in ogni mio post su dCrops condivido queste informazioni.
Ad esempio una diminuzione del rapporto CROP/SHARE in due stagioni potrebbe essere un dato positivo perchè potrebbe essere causato da un aumento del numero dei giocatori attivi.
Purtroppo non ho fatto uno screenshot del rapporto CROP/SHARE della stagione 80 ma cercherò di non perdermi i dati delle stagioni future.
A partire dalla stagione 78 ho iniziato a tenere traccia anche del numero dei giocatori attivi stagione dopo stagione.
Nella stagione 82 i giocatori attivi sono stati 264 mentre nella stagione 81 i giocatori attivi sono stati 267 con una diminuzione di soli 3 giocatori.
Per quanto riguarda la mia attività di gioco in questa stagione ho iniziato in leggero ritardo perchè la stagione autunnale è iniziata da quasi tre giorni ma sono ancora in tempo per piantare tutti i miei semi e avere il tempo necessario per farli maturare tutti.
In ogni stagione, prima di piantare i miei semi, effettuo è il claim delle ricompense delle quests stagionali.
Nella stagione 82 ho completato tutte le quests stagionali e in base al valore del mio CROP Power (84468) ho fatto il claim di 15 chests.
Nei prossimi giorni cercherò di aumentare il mio CROP Power perchè sono molto vicino a raggiungere un punteggio CROP Power di 85K punti con il quale posso ricevere 16 Chests invece delle 15 che ricevo con il mio attuale CROP POWER = 84468.578
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le probabilità di trovare un determinato elemento all'interno di 1 chest.
All'interno dei 15 Chests che ho aperto oggi ho trovato:
- 3 NFT di tipo Resource (1 Iron Ore + 1 Stone + 1 Wood)
- 3 Craft Items
- 7 Boosters
- 50 Gas
Sono stato molto più fortunato nella precedente stagione con il contenuto delle chests perchè ho trovato 7 NFT di tipo Resource in 15 chests mentre oggi ho trovato solo 3 NFT di tipo resource ma sono comunque soddisfatto anche considerando che ho trovato 1 Iron Ore che ha un valore di mercato di 3.290 HIVE.
Con le nuove quests stagionali sono stato molto sfortunato perchè su 7 quests totali ho ricevuto 5 quests che non posso completare perchè:
- non ho 2 Kidney Beans (3 stelle), 2 Bok Choy (2 stelle) e 3 Corn (2 stelle) nel mio inventario e il costo per acquistarli nel Farmers Market è più alto del costo del Reroll.
- non ho NFT di tipo seme King Weed e Sunflower per completare le 2 quests di tipo harvest.
Per avere 7 quests completabili su 7 ho utilizzato la funzionalità Reroll otto volte e ho speso in totale 80 CROP.
Per quanto riguarda l'operazione di semina in questa stagione anche se ho iniziato l'operazione di semina con quasi tre giorni di ritardo ho ancora giorni sufficienti per far maturare tutti i miei semi.
L'unico problema è relativo ai miei 17 semi Pumpkin che hanno un tempo di maturazione di 12 giorni perchè piantandoli oggi avrò 8 ore di tempo prima della fine della stagione per raccoglierli e conoscendomi potrei dimenticarmene.
Per avere una maggiore tranquillità ho utilizzato 6 Booster Speed-gro in 6 mie land per accellerare il tempo di maturazione dei miei semi Pumpkin
Come puoi vedere nel prossimo screenshot ho ridotto i tempi di maturazione dei miei 17 semi Pumpkin e alcuni saranno maturi in meno di 7 giorni invece di 12 giorni.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutti i semi che ho piantato oggi.
Mi piace monitorare il valore dei token dei giochi in cui gioco e/o ho investito e concludo la parte di questo post relativa a dCrops con un piccolo focus sul valore del token CROP.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere la differenza di valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari registrata dal token CROP nell'intervallo di tempo: 28 agosto 2024 - 14 settembre 2024.
Rispetto al 28 agosto 2024 trovo il valore in dollari del token HIVE uguale: 0.18$.
Rispetto al 28 agosto 2024 il valore in dollari del token CROP è diminuito:
- Highest Bid value: -0.0001100$ = -10.67%
- Lowest Ask value: -0.000212 = -16.83%
