In the morning, I already had a lot of work to do. First, I needed to finish my daily work, which is my bread and butter. Next, I had to take pictures, measure dimensions, and update the price list for the products my mom sells. I was really busy the whole day, and I didn't finish everything due to the overwhelming workload, but that's okay.
In the afternoon, my wife asked me to quickly go to the grocery store to buy something for her. When I was at the grocery store, after buying what my wife needed, I wandered around the aisles and looked for things I wanted for myself.
I ended up in the frozen section and something caught my attention, a pack of Tausi Spareribs, my favorite when dining out at David's Tea House with my family. It was a bit pricey for my budget, but I still bought it.
I also found frozen siomai and decided to get some.
Because of that, I moved on to the noodles section and bought Korean Ramen that my wife likes.
When I got home, I started preparing my meal. I microwaved the siomai and Tausi Spareribs first to speed up the steaming process later. After microwaving, I placed them in the steamer and cooked them for 20 minutes. While steaming, I also boiled eggs using the steamer's water to save energy, and I planned to add them to the Korean Ramen later.
I chopped onions, garlic, and onion leeks for the Korean Ramen I bought. My wife loves this kind of food, so she would be happy. I added a bit of sesame seed oil to make the noodles fragrant. The flavor I chose was Army Stew Ramyun, as my wife liked it when I let her taste it before, she said it had just the right amount of spiciness.
Luckily, we had Kimchi in the refrigerator, so I was sure my wife would be happy during our dinner.
I arranged all the food on a large food tray before bringing it to our bedroom. We decided to eat in the bedroom for a more enjoyable experience, as there was a floor mat, and my wife could savor her food better. Hahaha!
My day turned out great, and my fatigue eased after having the delicious meal tonight. But what made me even happier was seeing my wife excited to eat what I cooked.
