I'm not the biggest fan either. Think I just associate this time of year with financial stress and a seemingly inevitable meltdown at some point from whoever is cooking.
As for AIC I can confirm that you are missing out on a lot of the DuVall era stuff. You should give it a shot man! Jerry can still write and the vocal harmonies are still done with a lot of class.

I figured as much. Will likely stick on a live performance and see what emerges.. skipping the old stuff. Bands tend to perform their best songs and it saves me wading through a lot of material to find the gems.
