Hey, can I tell you something?
Ignore the sounds in the background. You don't have to be the best.
I know this culture is like, you got to be better than everybody else and beat them at their own game. Even in ministry, you got to be the best and get through most people. But that's not who you were created to be.
When God created you before you were in your mother's womb, he already knew you. He designated your voice, your life, the way that you look for a specific purpose, place, And sometimes that means like being the least qualified to do something that you're called to do and still not necessarily ended up being the best at it.
But your value is not in what you can achieve or how far you can achieve it. Value is found in being the you that God created you to be the best way that you know how to and that comes through reading his word and applying it and drawing closer to him in every aspect of your life.
Emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually. And let me tell you this. I'm so proud of your progress. You don't have to be like them to be valuable and to be accepted in love. You know, if you never make it to the top, he still loves you the same.
And whether you succeed or fail, he still loves you. You are not your achievement. You are not your failure. You are not what you're good at. You're not what you're bad at. You're not even your past.
The Bible tells us to seek him first in his righteousness. That is our job here. And your life will become a byproduct of your commitment to him. That is what God looking for.
