The Bible tells us that death and life are in the power of our tongue. And it also tells us that we have the authority to speak those things that are not as though they already were.
When you say a curse word, you're literally speaking a curse word over God's creation, yourself, or a situation. And because your words have the power to either speak death or life, you're really determining the outcome of whatever you got going on around you. God don't play about his babies. He don't play about his children.
You can't play about yourself or the people around you. What if I only curse in my head?
Well, you can't always control the thoughts that come to your mind. You can't control how you respond to them.
Because the Bible says, As a man thinketh, so is he.
What you think becomes what you act like, and what you act like is who you are.
The Bible says it's not what's in a man that defiles him, but what comes out of a man. It's not just curse words that can curse you. Anything that you speak that does not speak life over your situation is death. And not only is that witchcraft, but it's not honoring the temple that God gave you, your body that the Holy Spirit literally dwells in.
Even if you don't believe it, even if you don't feel it, even if you're angry, you better find a way to say something positive, find a way to speak life over your situation and over God's creation because God thought enough of them to die for them, just like he thought enough of you to die for you. And he's given you the power and the authority to look at your situation and say, God is in the middle of this somewhere.
