I mean I did participation but no one voted me or even didn't get attention of others, I might be doing something wrong
The participation itself doesn't grant you, or anyone lese, any votes.
This means only winners will get curation reward and other participants just only get with their post from their daily readers or whoever like their posts?

No, this means the curators will use their limited voting power on the posts they prefer.
