I have never believed in political parties, much less in those who lead them. However, when it comes to mass gatherings, I have recently attended not only to take photos but also to observe and analyze the reactions of the supporters and their relationship with the leaders.
This time, I went to see a rally for a presidential candidate.
The political situation in Venezuela is complex. In my opinion, it has regressed into a dictatorship.
I find it absurd to have elections in a dictatorial context, but people are desperate, and faced with any option, no matter how minimal, to remove the tyrants from power, they will choose it.
I saw messianism disguised as hope, but in large part I understand.
Venezuela is a failed state, and any option is the best, even if it is an illusion, because in the end the electoral result will be the same: the oppressors will win.
I hope I am wrong... I hope I am wrong.
Here I share some photos of some of the many people who attended the protest call.
