Hello dear #Hive monochrome people!... Today is Monday and I'm just coming back from a delightful morning walk through the streets of my hometown... I've sat down in front of my PC, downloaded my camera memory and have been looking at photos from today and recent weeks... Come and have a look at my pictures of today with me then!...

¡Hola gente monocromática de #Hive!... Hoy es lunes y recién estoy llegando de una deliciosa caminata mañanera a través de las calles de mi pueblo... Me he sentado en frente de mi PC, he descargado la memoria de mi cámara y me he dedicado a mirar fotos de hoy y de las semanas recientes... ¡Ven y mira mis fotos de hoy junto conmigo entonces!...

I have an anecdote about my photographic hobby: I usually post many of my photos also on other social networks such as FB and IG, where it is very common that many people who live in my town follow my work and enjoy it. But it is also very common that people with public positions and even accounts of local government entities such as the Mayor's office, the office of culture and art, the secretary of environment and the like, follow my networks and even use (with my consent always) many of my photos for their projects in the municipality... But in recent days a friend who works in the Mayor's office greeted me in the street and stopped to tell me: ‘Geez Jesus, please take photos of the beautiful spaces in town too, lately you have become a specialist in photographing everything that is falling down and abandoned’... Hahaha :))... I can't avoid laughing out loud!... This is a small town and the local authorities are trying to publicise it as a place with tourist potential to boost the declining local economy... No wonder they're disturbed that ‘a crazy man with a camera in his hand’ publishes dozens of photos every week where everything seems to be falling apart!... So I promised my friend that I would try to share my spaces between nice photos and my ‘beloved photos with everything dramatically deteriorated’... :)

Tengo una anécdota acerca de mi afición fotográfica: También acostumbro colocar muchas de mis fotos en otras redes sociales como FB es IG, allí es muy común que muchas personas que viven en mi pueblo sigan mi trabajo y disfruten del mismo. Pero también es muy común que personas con cargos públicos e incluso cuentas de entes del gobierno local como la oficina del Alcaide, la oficina de cultura y arte, la secretaría de ambiente y otros similares, sigan mis redes e incluso usen (con mi consentimiento siempre) muchas de mis fotos para sus proyectos en el municipio... Pero en días recientes una amiga la cual trabaja en la oficina del Alcaide me saludó en la calle y se detuvo para decirme: "Caray Jesús, por favor haz fotos también de los espacios bonitos del pueblo, últimamente te haz vuelto un especialista en fotografiar todo aquello que está cayéndose y abandonado"... Hahaha :))... ¡No puede evitar reírme a todo dar!... Este es un pueblo pequeño y las autoridades locales procuran darlo a conocer como un lugar con potencial turístico para fomentar la deteriorada economía local... ¡No me extraña que les perturbe que "un loco con una cámara en mano" publique semanalmente decenas de fotos en donde todo parece estar cayéndose a pedazos!... Así que prometí a mi amiga que procuraría compartir mis espacios entre fotos lindas y mis "amadas fotos con todo dramáticamente deteriorado"... :)

But, regardless of the promise I have made to my friend, I cannot deny that I find it hard to detach myself visually from all the drama I find in the streets of my town. This and any of my posts are a frank example of how feasible and conducive I find it here to take the kind of photos I like to take most. So maybe I will have to make an extra effort to find that ‘beautiful side’ here and take some pictures... But for the moment, my eyes are still watching the time take everything in a rush and everything seems to be more and more worthy of being desaturated... Even such everyday things as my friends' motorbikes and their bicycles seem to be irreversibly becoming charming objects to be portrayed in monochrome... And I think that's nice, I don't deny it!... ;)

Pero, indistintamente de la promesa que haya yo hecho a mi amiga, no puedo negar que me cuesta desprenderme visualmente hablando, de todo el drama que encuentro en las calles de mi pueblo. Esta y cualquiera de mis publicaciones son un franco ejemplo de cuan factible y propicio es lo que aquí observo para hacer el tipo de fotos que más me gusta hacer. Así que quizás tendré que hacer un esfuerzo adicional para encontrar ese "lado bonito" aquí y hacer algunas fotos... Pero de momento, mis ojos siguen mirando el tiempo llevarse todo en atropello y todo parece estar cada vez más digno de ser desaturado... Incluso cosas tan cotidianas como las motos de mis amigos y sus bicicletas, parecen estar convirtiéndose de manera irreversible en encantadores objetos para ser retratados en monocromático... ¡Y eso a mi me parece lindo, no lo niego!... ;)

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
