Moments in BNW, Plaza Houssay, Buenos Aires.
I like that title, there are always moments to capture, anywhere in every second something is happening, it may or may not be important but there it is. That is why I always or most of the time carry my camera with me, when I have a few minutes free I take the opportunity to take some shots. Now that I think about it, it could be a risk to do this since I leave my house at 4 am and the streets are not very safe in the early morning... but sometimes you have to take those risks!
Only 15 minutes... while traveling on the subway I decided to get off several stations early and capture some moments in Plaza Houssay in Buenos Aires. Luckily I had the 70-300mm with me, ideal for this very limited time.
This is my favorite set photo without a doubt. I love the scene of a person sitting on a bench, in this case this gentleman stands out with his clothes and his expressions.
Maybe a nice walk with the dogs? I believe this lady is providing this service. There are many dog walkers in the city and there are always more than 5 with them, although here there seems to be only 4 😅
I really like this shot. I was hesitant to share because it's not very well focused but I love that smile on her face.
This young man walks through the square towards the avenue and in the background you can see the school of economic sciences of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).
A more detailed photo of the columns of this beautiful and emblematic buildings.
Upper part of the façade of the faculty... How many details and reliefs can we see in this building? I think more constructions in styles like these would be necessary.
My admiration for those elderly people who, despite this, are on the streets, in the markets, shopping and even exercising.
Did I mention before that I love taking photos of people sitting on benches? 😂
Perhaps this square is a good place to take a break, chat with a friend and clear your mind.
A gentleman waiting for the arrival of transport while listening to music, phone in hand and yet seems to be focused on something else.
A general view of the residential buildings in the area.
Most of these people are usually parents who take their children to a playground in this area, I have been there too 😊
Just a parked bike... Yes, more bikes.
Do you have any favorites from this street photography set? What is it and why? :)
That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
