A few meters from the Tower of Hercules, in A Coruña, there is a park that the Galician's wanted to decorate to enhance its beauty more than 20 years ago.
Thus, it was that in 2003 the Menhirs Park was inaugurated, a group of rocky constructions placed vertically that are intended to be a tribute to the Celtic culture that inhabited Galicia.
It is rare not to find someone in this place playing photographically with the menhirs.
They have the particularity of having all of them 2 or 4 holes from which one can see another menhir.
Or you can see other monuments of the place, like the Tower of Hercules.
How beautiful is this lighthouse from Roman times that is still in use.
From other menhirs, you can see a very special sculptural ensemble.
It is very special when one sees it from the other perspective and sees several inscriptions on the different stones.
Some of these inscriptions are words of poets killed in the civil war, as Federico Garcia Lorca.
And is that this monument is a tribute to the fallen in the Spanish Civil War in the early twenty-first century.
I hope you liked this little piece of Galicia, located in the city of A Coruña.
Best regards.
