We had a small celebration from our team days after the Christmas party because we had won some prizes from the games and competition in the Christmas party.
I think we gathered more than 6,000php or 100USD+ for all of the awards and prizes that we get. It's not that big considering that we are over 20 people in our team but we decided to go to this place to celebrate together like eating together and chill after we eat.
This happened last December 27 at night after we finished our work. We decided as a team to have a small get together in the evening of that day.
Well, there are lots of options and opinions that we shared together to what we will do on our money that we gathered. Some shared to go to the beach while we were celebrating it. Some said that we will go to one of the famous food store here in town. There are opinions that some of our members doesn't like it because it's very far and some doesn't have any vehicles to ride on.
Then, we decided to get together in one of the famous food store and we will go to the resto bar that is also near in our town. Then after a couple of minutes, some people said that it's hassle to go one place to another.
We finalize on where to go to celebrate together in only one place and that is the resto bar and we will buy some food in another store because the food is more expensive in the resto bar and the only thing that we can do is buy to another store for food so that we can save more money and buy only any drinks for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the resto bar.
Thankfully, the owner said that it's okay to bring food in their resto bar because they usually doesn't allow to bring any food inside the resto bar and there will be charge when bringing any food or drinks inside it.
After we finished our work, we go directly to this place for our small celebration and there were members that are tasks on getting the food, cooking the rice, and etc.
We were very early in the place but there were some members that are late and some didn't attend in the celebration but we were very happy that it was one of the best experience that I had in that kind of post celebration together with the co-workers.
The place of the resto bar is really great. It has different colors for every different corner and their are lots of tables that are in this place.
This resto bar is called 5th Avenue and it's located here in Zamboanga del sur. Well, I've been to different resto bar and this resto bar is different and unique because it's made of wood and it's like you were in a beach because the floor is make of stones but it's not located at the beach.
We waited for a couple of minutes for the other co-workers to arrive and we ate together as we enjoy together our dinner together. It's like a small company dinner with these amazing people here in front of me. The food taste great, too, because there are many dishes that we ordered like fried chicken, beef steak, fried noodles, chicken curry, sweet and sour shrimp, and roasted chicken.
We were enjoying ourselves from our dinner and there will be next after dinner which is drinking together. Even though that I didn't participate in drinking alcoholic drinks together because at that time, I need to home because it's my mom's birthday.
I only ate dinner then go home but the co-workers enjoyed themselves in drinking these alcoholic drinks with other co-workers and they spend their time there while finishing one whole bottle.
They dance and sing as they were drunk in the place but they are happy at that night. I am hoping to these kinds of events in the future for me to enjoy, too.
