Hello everybody,
After finished reading the Challenge initiated by @justinparke I right away scrolled my gallery and searched for an orangey snapped I took over the years. I found 12 orangey pictures.
My first was taken yesterday. It was my laundry time then all towels and blankets were hanged dry on the clothes line. I snapped my favorite towel with a tiger print. I really love to look at his eyes looking at me.
As I am fascinated with this animal I googled about it. The tiger is the largest living cat species and a member of the genus Panthera. It is most recognizable for it's dark vertical stripes on orange fur with a white underside...Wikipedia
The animal is indeed related to color orange.
2nd are our dogs. One morning when I open the kitchen door that leads to the stair of our roof top. I did not expect almost all of them lying on the stairs, grateful I was holding my cellphone that time so I snapped them happily and when I saw the picture it blended with our house painted in orange. Look! What a rare moment for me to snapped them all. I was happy with the outcome.
3rd our cats Ginger and Odette sleep side by side under our table. What a scene!
The 4th pictures are about foods. Everytime we dine-in at Diane's Seafood Restaurant here in our City, the Shrimp tempura is what I always order first. I just loved this food, as in.
My next favorite food is the fried peanuts I fry in coconut oil and sprinkle it with salt. Everytime I crochet and write my blog draft, fried peanuts is on my side.
Next is our own papaya fruit that I harvested every other day. We are truly lucky that birds plant them all around our lot. It just grew tall by it's own and the fruits are too sweet.
Next picture is also my favorite viand I order every time we travel and pass by our favorite Park Place beside the sea. I do love to eat this with out rice. This is my alternative.
Next are orangey flowers. This Japanese glorybower whose botanical name is Clerodendrum japonicum is planted by our neighbors. They make them as fence. They have a sari-sari store, so, when ever I went to their store, I really love to see this flowers. I even tell my neighbor to plant for me I will buy the seedlings when they are ready to transfer.
This Lantana are abundant here in our place. We condidered them as weeds because they almost covered the lot.In our own dialect we call this plant Kanding-kanding meaning goat-gost. I do know why the locals them like that. When I let the Picture This App identify it here is the description. Lantana a species of Shrub verbenes. Also known as Common lantana, West Indian lantana, Red Sage, Yellow sage, Spanish flag and Umbelanterna. The botanical name: Lantana camara.
Then this cloud picture I snapped here in our horizon way back summer of 2023, which mesmerized me. Nature is so wonderful and beautiful!
Lastly, as a Crochetist happy much to share an orange top project I started, for my own use...
And, my gratitude bottle 2024 crocheted cover is made of orange yarn with orange cord tied to secure the bottle cover.
That is all folks hope you like my orangey picture that denotes positivity and happiness.
Thanks for dropping by...
