Ouch, poor Paul. That has to be rough. I couldn't imagine taking on that much travel. I can see how it would just grind you down. Not just financially, but mentally as well. Probably a bit of his health as well.
yeah he was "done" a long time ago and when I would see him he was never really in high spirits. The financial problems were kind of consuming his every waking moment and the only time he could let loose was when he was wasted and that would lead to big bar tabs and therefore just additional problems plus hangovers.
Money seems to have a lot of control over many aspects of our lives it would seem. Much respect to those who have seemed to figure it out or at the very least have gotten lucky!
