Wow, that is pretty impressive. I guess more than the lights is the fact that you pretty much had the place to yourselves. That's a rare thing right there. Even when my wife and I go out into the woods, we often run across someone else. It seems you can never escape! I look forward to reading about the other park!
our bungalow came with lantern as well so i guess it was permitted for us to even go off trail if we wanted to. They seemed pretty lax with security in a general sense. Unfortunately the lantern was broken and it was so cold I probably wouldn't have done it anyway :)
That's funny to hear you say that someplace was too cold in Vietnam. You said the whole park is fenced in though?
yes, not like prison style of fence but something that is large enough that it would keep people out for the most part. There isn't really anything that is worth stealing in the park though, so I don't think the fence is really necessary aside from wanting to make sure people pay admission.
I have become a bit of a wuss as far as cold temps are concerned after living for many years in places where it is routinely 80-90 degrees almost every day.
