Hi, I am Arveno and i am from Surabaya city Indonesia. I want to make content about how i spend the last few weeks in my Hometown with my little family and some of friends. FYI some of my friends did not give permission to take their picture so i just take some picture without face or just sceneery. But rest assured i will tell the story based on my point of view.
It started before the holiday started. Me and my wife having plan that we are going back to our hometown to meet up with my family. Since we are both just can visiting them twice a year while Eid Holidays that usually in conjunction with school break holidays and the other holidays is Christmass holiday that always conjunction with New Year Holiday. We are using train because train is kinda fast and comfortable to both of us. And kinda cheap too compared to other public transport. And we got night train, the other departure schedule is full booked. But, it is okay. Nothing much happened in train since i am sleep on train and after we are arrived my little brother picking up and come back home. All my family member is already sleep since i came at almost midnight. And yeah then we are take a shower than we are going to sleep.
Next day me and my wife planned to going outdoor vacation, not staycation but just only playing in amusement park with my son. But, it turns out that the weather is not good at all. I still remembered that every Christmass holiday the weather in my home town is not friendly at all always rain and sometime it can make flood too. And since my son still in recovery after got flu sickness, so we are canceling our plan to amusement park. But, we are still can enjoying the moment with eating in fancy restaurant. I know that restaurant in my hometown especially in rural area there are cheaper than in my city.
This restaurant seems cozy and cool. The cloudy weather makes the vibes very cozy and breezy. My wife ordered food in this restaurant to make my son taste the fish.
And while we are waiting food and beverages we are just taking a moment together. My wife did not want to inside the picture. Maybe she is not in the mood at that time. After a while the food are coming. I just took some of them that i drooling before taste it.
The noodles did not what i am expected. The taste is just good. Contrary with the fish, The taste of fish feels like fresh and delicate also delicious. But, overall eating here is really good. Only 1 that taste regular, the other feels incredibles, and the beverages also incredible too. After done eating, we are decided to back home and enjoying in my parents house with talking and sharing story what we are going through in the half of the year. Talking some event that we are missed the story.
The next day nothing happened mostly i am just meeting with some friends and entertain my relatives some of them want to meet up with my parents since my father is the oldest child and my grandfather already passed away. And my Grandmother is far away, she lived in Bali and we cannot going there this year.
Some interesting event there is finally some of my friends can gathering in my friends office. This is kinda like yearly event that always happen.
We are nostalgic and telling story about what happened in the half of year. Many news from my friends that i am missing out especialy they are never tell it in social media. And of course we are drinking alcohol here. But, it is okay we are not drunk this year. Just we are going back home at dawn. Once a year is acceptable.LOL. So many idea and insight i got from talking with my friends too. But mostly yeah we are remembering the good old days. when we are young to make our spirit back to handle 2025.
At Christmass yeah it kinda usual, going to church with my little family accompanied by intimate drizzling. Then we got wet by rain when we are going back home. My son kinda excited with church this year. Thats different with the last year that he felt bored in church. But this year i dont take any picture in church, Kinda enjoying intimacy moment between myself with GOD.
The day after christmass not too excited mostly i am just at home enjoying entertain guest at my home, Some of my friends and some of my parents friends. Also i am going to my parents in law home to visiting and enjoying time with them. Mostly my wife that enjoying back to her house. And i got news that my little brother choosen to be a judge in Local Cosplay Event. So, me and my other brother going there since my son and my nephew wants to go there to see my little brother.
Eventually there are new toys store that open this week. Thats why there are coswalk event there.
In here my son cosplaying as Superman and my nephew cosplaying as Spiderman. But, because the weather is not too friendly. The wind is so strong and starting to drizzling. and i believe soon it will be heavy rain. Thats why we didn't stay there to long.
One day before New Year i have appointment for acupunture. My friend or i can said that she is my brother friend but we know each other since we just have 2 years difference, she said to trying acupunture and cupped so i can have good sleep and make my body loosened a little bit. Yeah i am curious since many my friend suggest to do so.
Sadly i dont take picture when i got acupunture and i have many needles in my body.
And what happened after got acupuntured and cupped there is nothing happened. My body feels the same. Maybe because i dont have any symptom or indication that i am sick thats why i dont feel anything. But, my friend suggest to do routine acupunture and cupped. It will make my blood flow become smoother. And of course healthier and release the tension on my muscles.
After that i just spending the New Year Eve in my home since it is raining all day.
I though i will spending New Year Eve by sleeping but it turns out that my son wont going sleep he is excited to see the Fireworks.
So, i accompany him while my wife sleep and me and my son watching fireworks together outside my house.
