Hi, I am Arveno and i am from Surabaya city Indonesia. Remember my content about Chinese New Year that i am sharing about if my family could not gathering together?? You can read it here. it turns out that my mom still want to gathering all her kids in one city and at least eating together and sharing moments together. Even though we are not celebrate the tradition with using Old Chinese tradition that need to using Red clothes and knee and giving respect to elderly. It seems all of us agree with my mom that we still need to gather together as family and at least enjoying moment together in some place or home. And since my house and my brother house is small, so it cannot accomodate to all people. So, we decided to go mall near our house.
This mall decoration will change every event in 1 year. This time the decoration change to be chinese decoration. Using city light and lampion as decoration. At daylight it feels like nothing, but when night comes, the city light is really beautiful. At this time i am not meet my family yet. They are going to mall first while me and my wife late. We are still working on something at that time thats why we are late. And yeah while we are parking outside and seeing this beautiful decoration. I am taking a picture on it.
Basically this decoration is on outside the Mall and there is place like Outdoor Food Court. There are so many food stall in there. But, i dont like to be there. First i dont like place that too crowded. Since i cannot talk or hear because to crowd. Second, my anxiety goes up when too crowded. Third, There are so much trash outside. But, beside of that reason i am still enjoying to taking picture in this place.LOL.
The best thing on the decoration is there is a gazebo with chinese decoration and under the gazebo there is artificial pond. You can throw coin and make a wish while in there. Or you can write down your wish and tied it on the bamboo fence.
You can read in the information sign. it is said that this place of hopes and dreams where we can write our wish and let the ripples carry it to universe.
Thats very interesting. But, yep i like it. And yeah i already throw coin and make a wish (I wish i can reach 10k HP this month. LOL)
After that i am going to inside the mall and meet up with my family. My son already with my family since my son stay at my brother house with my parents. My son want to enjoying time too with his grandparents. After we met up, we strolling in mall and waiting past dinner time. Since when dinner time many restaurant are really full and we need to queue first and it would be same if we are queue or strolling first. So we decided to strolling first until the restaurant less crowded. And i suggesting to my parents to eating at Fusia Restaurant. My little family favourite restaurant. Usually my parents have different taste with my little family. But, i need to try it, who knows my parents will like the food.
This is the first picture of the whole my big family from my side. Hopefully we can have this moment together more.
Honestly deep down in my heart i am really happy that we are together and we can sharing our though and experience while we eating. And it turns out that this is the first time my parents really like the restaurant that i am suggesting to them. Usually they are said that they dont like my taste. So yeah kinda proud and makes me more happy. And my mom talking about her experience on Bali in a week. Yeah more big family problem and elderly problem that i never cared about. Since they are just related to me and we are really rare to meet up we are living in different island. And it took almost 12 hours using car and need to crossing sea using ferry ship. Or we can go there using plane but it kinda expensive. Thats why we are very rare to meet up. It need big event like when the elderly die or the close relation dead like when my grandpa died a while ago. Thats my experience about my Chinese New Year. Hopefully my whole big family got healthy and wealthy this year. And for you who are read my content get huge prosperity and healthy too.
