Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands community engagement challenge for this week. Like my last engagement challenge, I want to bring to your attention one of my battle strategies in splinterlands.
Like we the players know, splinterlands is a game of strategy and when you have played for sometime, you get to develop some strategies that you can rely on. Throughout my time in splinterlands, I've found some strategies either via mistakes or through repetitive use. I play the modern league now and so most of my strategies are based on the modern cards. I will be demonstrating one of these strategies using a battle.
Battlefield
When I intially started playing splinterlands, I used to always get beat by whoever brought Quora Townsend because I just didn't know how to counter Quora. I was so inlove with Quora I wanted to get her so bad but to no avail. When I didn't give it too much of a thought anymore, I got it. Since then, I have developed a strategy of when I use Quora. Quora has become quite easy to beat and so if you're not careful, you'll use a chunk of your mana to get her in and just get her easily beat.
Quora townsend
For me, I have decided that I will use Quora Townsend when the overall battle mana is not high and when some other rulesets are applied. I do not like to have Quora in first position so when I see the maylee mayhem ruleset, I get excited. When the mana is not high like in this battle, I am more than encouraged to pick a team where I can use Quora Townsend.

I use this strategy because when the mana for battle is say for example, 23 like in this battle, I can pick Quora and 2 martyr monsters in Vernari Markstrat and Fungus Flinger. I put one infront and one at the back of Quora so that when either or both die, I get +1 on all Quora's stats. When I am fortunate enough and my enemy brings monsters that kill my martry monsters, it feels me with so much joy and trust in this strategy.

When you use Quora with rulesets like maylee mayhem it doesn't matter where you position Quora because both attacks will come to fruition. Additionally, when the mana is not much, your enemy is more likely to bring a team of monsters with minimal health. That way, Quora can kill the first monsters early and usually when you allow Quora to bloodlust, it's over for you.

Fortunately for me, all these were met and I was able to benefit maximally with this straegy in this battle. I don't always follow my own rules on when to use Quora Townsend but most at times when I use Quora, I use it when the total mana is small or when the rulesets will be beneficial to me.

This lineup and strategy works quite well but of course like all strategies, it has its limitations.
