Always frustrating when tech doesn't cooperate, but lowering those graphics might help smooth things out. Hope you get your laptop back soon man

        The lowering did help to smooth things out a bit... I added a few RAM sticks but I've not tested it with recording yet. Although I'm pretty sure that it'll do the recording a great deal better!

        But then again it's old RAM and an old CPU... it's still DDR3 RAM
