Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
Introduction To Post.
Day 31-32
Now for this one I didn't add commentary to the video, I never really planned to play and therefore I didn't have everything with me. I wasn't at home but for the next video I will definitely have some commentary!
This episode did have a plan, although I couldn't really finish up on that plan due to some problems I ran into while playing, or rather set backs! That's Valheim for you and that is what makes it so much fun!
I'm glad I was able to sort everything out on the island that I landed! Otherwise I might have needed to sail all the way back and that would have eaten up a bunch of time!
Let's get to it!
The Elder Boss.
As we all know Valheim isn't a easy game and it sure as hell ain't really meant for players who want a passive experience, I mean it is passive but heck it's not what you think it to be.
My progress is a little behind since I need a whole bunch of iron and to get iron I need to get the "Iron Gate Key" that "The Elder" boss drops.
Hence I need to sail all the way over to kill the bastard of the woods!
Docking Problems.
Yeah, finding a location to throw over the anchor wasn't the big problem. It was clearing out the area to be able to throw down that anchor!
Hopefully the boat is still here when I return. IF I return!
The Black Forest.
There I was standing at the precipice of not knowing if I'll make it out of these dark woods!
Something felt eerie about this place and enough so that I wanted out of it! Must be because I'm so far from home.
It has its own sort of beauty doesn't it?
Finding The Ritual Site.
Finding the site from which to summon "The Elder" wasn't the problem at all. It was that once I got there I noticed I needed something special to summon "The Elder"
The Hint given was: Burn Their Young!
Slightly brutal but okay!
I need to find three "Ancient Seeds" damn where will I find this now!
Pacing For Life.
There I was caught in the haze of my own doings!
Before I even realized it night time fell upon me! I'm not sure if this was a good or bad thing.
Might have been a good thing since I could spot the "GreyDwarf's" a great deal better at night and I needed some of those "Ancient Seeds" that they tend to drop!
The War Of The Three Trolls!
Now this I never expected! To run into not one! Not two but three trolls on this island while I tried to hunt for those "Ancient Seeds!"
What luck was that!
I managed to catch the first two off-guard but the third one took me by surprise and he almost flattened me! Almost!
Do Or Die!
I was in the thick of it now!
There wasn't running away now or even trying to jump on my ship to sail away! No no! That thing will bash both me and the ship to pieces while I tried getting the sails ready!
Then I'd be dead and without gear!
It was one intense bitter fight and one that I didn't think I'd win!
Bloody Trolls!
The GreyDwarf Nest!
After fighting for most of the night against the trolls the morning brought some hope with it!
When dawn hit I saw a bunch of GreyDwarf's clumped up together and I just knew there had to be a nest somewhere close! I needed to get my hands on some of those "Ancient Seeds!"
So I cut them all down and would do it again if they contested me!
Heavy Swings!
I had to bring that axe all the way from yesterday!
I've been thrown around enough on this island! Just give me what I damned well want!
And I did!
